Catholic Social Services of the Upper Peninsula (CSSUP) is seeking a full time Behavioral Health Therapist at its Marquette Out-Patient clinic. A licensed mental health professional who provides therapeutic services to a variety of clients with mental health and addiction disorders including those clients with co-occurring disorders, and trauma experiences. Conducts screening with clients to determine immediate needs and eligibility for programs. Assesses client to determine diagnosis, problems, strengths, and needs. Develops with clients treatment plans establishing agreed upon goals, objectives and interventions. Provides individual, group, and family therapy helping clients to achieve the objectives in the treatment plan. Provides safe and effective crisis counseling to clients in the outpatient setting. Adheres to the Code of Ethics of their profession, CSSUP and the Michigan Association of Addiction Professionals. Certification as an addiction counselor is preferred. Full-Time with Benefits. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
